Gloves and Mittens That Actually Keep Your Hands Warm

Glove Love

By Brooke Danielson

Frosty fingertips are no fun, particularly if they are the cause of cutting your time on the mountain short. I’m quite selective when it comes to gloves. Durable, well-designed gloves should keep your hands warm, dry and last you several seasons. I’m partial to mittens. Why? Because in keeping your fingers together, they are helping keep each other warm.

My ultimate favorite pair are from Hestra. Some newer styles on the market feature built-in heat systems, a next-level option. Scroll down for four pairs that get the job done and will last you several seasons ahead.

My favorite!
